Be aware that this reads the F5 dscbs and probably ENQs SYSVTOC, so you wouldn't want to do it indiscriminately. Most of these utilities were changed years ago to not ENQ the VTOC. A couple out of synch in today's DASD farms don't matter. - Too busy driving to stop for gas!
