Howard, Check your PROCLIB procedure for stating FTP. Ours looks like this: snip The SYSFTPD DD statement is optional. The search order for FTP.DATA

Just happen to have it in one of the reference manuals for our product: FTP.DATA is IBM's term for the FTP parameter dataset. There is no dataset actually named FTP.DATA. The search order for FTP.DATA is: SYSFTPD DD statement in FTP server started task cataloged procedure; jobname.FTP.DATA
