What IBM COBOL compiler do you have? What release of LE are you using?
The reason that I ask, is you are pointing to (and reference) the
IBM COBOL for OS/390 and ...
documentation which talks about the SOM based OO support in COBOL.
With Enterprise COBOL, there is a TOTALLY new (and
Bill, we are currently z/OS 1.4 and COBOL for OS/390 2.2. We are a PWD
member so we should be able to get access to Enterprise COBOL if that is the
correct route. We wouldn't want to go down a cul de sac anyhow. I'll check
out the docs you refer to.
