LOCATE Question

All, I'm playing around with the LOCATE Macro and have a question. The returned WORK-AREA contains 6 bytes ot stuff at the beginning and then the first VOLSER is following. The VOLSER is MIGRATE if the dataset is migrated. Is there a way to determine if the dataset is migrated to TAPE or
