Well, this is a bit vague. But the IBM-1047 (C language) CCSID has those glyphs in it, at the code points (hexadecimal values) required for z/OS UNIX and the C compiler to work properly. There are many other code pages mapping those glyphs, and z/OS UNIX and the C/C++ compiler work with any of

I think I have my terminology correct. I have a user who wants to print the brackets, braces, carat, back slash, tilde and veticle bar? Where can I find what resources contain those elements and what character set contains them? Paul P
