Hello everyone.
We are trying to get our z/OS output that has embedded DJDE info to our RSA
Server running M.I.S. Print. The output is shipped via TCP/IP and we are
trying to use CA-Spool for that part. The Reports are then to be converted
to PCL by M.I.S. Print and passed on to our printer.
Thanks for the tips. I'm still doing a lot of digging to figure out what to
do. I'm about to the point of starting over on my installation and insert a
step to create a new PFA zfs before it eats up what little free root space I
have.
I can't seem to find anything that tells me what PFA did to
John,
Don't know why I didn't think of that. A little tunnel vision I guess.
As I understand how zfs works, if I can find what to remove form my root,
the freed space will be usable. Correct?
Thanks,
Howard

Hello everyone.
I kinda got myself into a pickle and I hope you can help.
I am installing z/OS 1.11 and before I knew what was happening, PFA (which
was at default values in the parms) was writing a bunch of data to my
OMVS.ROOT and I started getting messages that it was full.
So to get past
Sorry gang. I got pulled away on other fires and forgot to update what
happened.
As somnone had suggested, I went to the HSM Storage Administration Guide,
Chapter 5.1.9 - Case 9. Reestablish Access to Previously Deleted Mugrated

Hello everyone. I have some datasets on ML2 that have long since been
uncataloged that I need to recall. I've loked for ways to either recatalog
then recall them or recall and recatalog them, but no luckthere yet.
Thanks.

I didn't know you COULD recat to MIGRAT2. Could I trouble you for some
sample code for that to save me some time?
I tried the RECOVER command but I got an ARC1128 BACKUP/DUMP COPY DOES NOT
EXIST.
Thanks all.

The onl copy I have is the tape ML2. As far as I can tell, my MCDS data is
good, it's just that the data set has been uncataloged for a very long time
so HSM on't allow the recall. I'm trying to research recating to MIGRAT2
but so far I'm strikin' out.
Thanks,
Howard
Thanks for the info. I had missed it before. I also found something in the
HSM Stg Admin Guide 5.1.9 Case 9...reestablish access to Previously Deleted
Migrated Data Sets (No Backup Exists, ML2 Only). You nd this may have me on
the right track. I'll update with what happens.
Thanks all!
