Hi,
Is there a way to calculate the USSTAB screen length and resolutions using
a EXCEL and using which we can directly use them to assemble and linkedit ?
I have heard this long time back where one of the shop were using EXCEL to
build the USSTAB. Is there anyone still using and

You need to TSOEXEC CALL the main COBOL program. It must run isolated,
I did not. Wish I had thought to do that.
Thanks for the reminder though.

Did you press F1 after getting RC=08 in ISMF. Sometimes you can get a better
explanation that way.

I just looked in bitsavers and to my dismay they don't have any VM/SE manuals.
For that matter, they don't have any MVS/SE manuals either. If anyone here has
any of them, please consider donating scans to them.

great! the SYS3 dataset still may have caused the issue if you're in a protect
all configuration.
I still have the notes from z/os 1.3 on how to recreate a SCDS from an ACDS.
good stuff and good that it's still a valid fix !

No 'rules'? This is not looking good, but then, it should probably not affect
your issue, AFAIK.
Do you have any profiles defined at all or have something in the Global
I fixed it, but not sure why/how it wasn't working.
At some point I remember my SYS1.DFSMS.SCDS was missing the correct
configuration. The ACDS was correct, but I wasn't sure how to get it
retrieve in to an SCDS. I finally remembered that I could save the ACDS
into a new SCDS. That became

hope you get it figured out, let us know

I'll check on my TSO profile.

Sometime the messages come back to the tso session when using ISMF.
Check your TSO PROFILE and make sure you are not suppressing them
You could also check the DFHSM STC Task for the messages, they could be there
as well.

Lol... The US is in the midst of a craft beer craze, so you may be able to
find some acceptable brews. I judge beer on how closely it resembles a
glass of Coors at 34F, so you'll need others for advice on that.
As for power, an accident with 110V is less likely to invoke a life
insurance payout
I think you'll want to ask this question in the CICS list.
