Using XL C on z/OS V2R5. I've got a set of #ifdefs in a header file that are
not giving me the results I expect. I know on other compilers I've used in the
past that there were options to output all input statements showing the #ifdefs
and how the logic was processed. I need the same thing for

Ask an AI to come up with past decisions that support such-and-such a position,
and they follow your instructions!

I'm not sure what that even means. Java programs are run by just invoking the
JVM and specifying options on which class to run. The JZOS batch launcher is
a z/OS Utility program that will do that for you. There is no "java
subsystem" that needs to be started first.

Not that I know of. We run Java stuff without starting any STC. Maybe they have
one??

Does JAVA have any started tasks on z/OS?

Some folks have mentioned 'backplane' etc. There is no such thing as
'backplane' connectivity. One solution for a FICON CTC within a SINGLE CEC/CPC
is to use a 'jumper cable' between 2 FICON ports - either on the same FICON
card or 2 different ones. More about using and spec of the jumper
