I'm assuming you mean RSU1307. When you did the receive for the 21 PTFs, you
may have received the HOLDDATA which contains the FIXCATs that called in the
other 24. Had it been awhile since you received HOLDDATA?

Funny all the hoopla about doing an EXPORT TEMP followed by an IMPORT. Not
laying criticisism on anyone, but I consider it my job to keep the structures
and constructs as clean as possible at all times. But, that's just me, I guess.
This works for me:
//COPYEXEC PGM=IKJEFT01
//SYSTSPRT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSTSIN DD *
SMC FDS('XX.X...()') +
Does this work?
RECEIVE SYSMODS RFPREFIX(DB.CFED).

I turn on the trace like this:
$S TRACE(13)
$T EXIT(6),TRACE=YES
$T TRACEDEF,ACTIVE=YES,LOG=(CLASS=L,START=YES) ** (class L where you

Then turn it off:
$T TRACEDEF,SPIN
I'm wondering if anyone else out there is using EA Catalogs (greater than 4G)
with success. Did you need a lot of product upgrades to support it?
Any gotchas? Good news, bad news?
Thanks in advance for your post.

Man, the auditors came up with a new one!

So I have been assigned the task of researching how to provide Automated

Will you pass these 'rants and expletives' to these auditors? :-D
I will be passing them on to my manager. We are talking Federal auditors and
billion dollar government contracts, so, no, I won't be telling the auditors
anything. I let management (who are trained not to put their foot in their
I agree with all you said - that's the correct definition. Additionally, they
are temporary because you can apply them and restore them. They are not
permanent parts of the code. Until you accept them, of course. But who in
they're right mind would ever do that? ;+)
