So you are trying to copy a bunch of primary disk from one datacenter to a
second datacenter using VTS? The only way I can see this is to be doing FDR or
DF/DSS dumps of the disk volumes in the primary datacenter to the VTS, use GGM
(if it can be done) to get the volumes to the second VTS, then do restores onto
the primary at the second datacenter.

Subject: [External] Re: Grid To Grid Migration - GGM

I'm sorry to explain myself so badly

it is about copying all the discs of a lpar of a CPD, with which I do not share
anything. I'm limited by cost issue. Due to the old hardware in origin, I would
need an additional card in my hardware (more modern) to be able to read the
cartridges.
shortly, I will have a WAN to join the two networks that are separated.
I think I only have the GGM solution to solve this issue.

Red Book - IBM TS7700 Release 4.2 Guide
Grid to Grid migration tool
The GGM tool is a service offering from IBM. You can use it to copy logical
volumes from one grid to another grid while both grids have a separated grid
network. After the GGM is set up by an IBM Service Support Representative (IBM
SSR), the data from the logical volumes is transferred from one grid to the
other grid through the existing IP addresses for the gridlinks.
