Conversion from SAG Adabas and Natural to something else

I am looking for options to eliminate SAG in a shop. I have checked with two of the major vendors of such a conversion and the costs equate to about the same as 3 years of support from SAG. Such high costs are just not in the budget. Is there anyone on the list who has 'rolled their own' conve
