Mike,
Add the following to the ftp step.
PARM='ENVAR("GSK_TRACE=0x")/'
Then after running the job, go into USS and you will see a file that starts
with gskssl.x.trc (where x is num
try tracing the batch job name.
your job is a client which does not use your ftp server,
it uses the ibm smp ftp server.
