Oren,
כל הכבוד!
My error was that "HLASM" should have been in lower case in the JSON code. All
set (for the time being). Thanks, everyone!

Hi,
It works perfectly for me. Thanks Dan!
My settings.json looks like this:
{
"terminal.integrated.shell.windows": "C:\\WINDOWS\\System32\\cmd.exe",
"window.zoomLevel": 1,
"files.associations": {
"*.s": "hlasm",
"*.asm": "hlasm"
},
"[hlasm]": {
Thank you all for your inputs/suggestions. I tried all of them and they
worked on some files but not all. I have mixed bag of HTML, Java script,
map, TS, package and some other formats. I am still working with individual
files. I will dig this further to see if I can find the root.
Once again

Nice! Thanks. I turned it on. Column 72, or maybe 71 would be better.
Wish I could put it in the language profile rather than global, but much of
what I do in Notepad++ is either assembler or JCL. And it does not get in the
way for Rexx or other free-form things.

I have a rexx program that reads in a list of data set names and / or masks
and creates a “master” member list consisting of all of the PDS/E members
found in the data sets. The output is a file containing the member name,
the DSN, last update date (from ISPF stats, if available) and the number

It seems to me that I get that message only when accessing KC with Chrome
but not with Firefox.

I am working on a project where the omvs performance on some systems is
slower than one would like -definitely not sub-second.
I'm looking for tuning suggestions.
When under ISPF the elapsed time is more than double the elapsed time when
in native TSO.
Note that the OMVS environment
I am in fact using Chrome. (Um, IBM, it's the most used desktop browser, with a
60-odd percent market share.) I use Chrome all the time but the error only
occurs 50% (?) of the time.

Does anyone else get the above message about half the time they try to use
Knowledge Center, or is it just me?
I keep hoping a company that runs "Expect More from the IBM Cloud" on
national TV would have enough Web capacity for a documentation repository.

Found one major issue - the systems where the issue is are z/OS 2.1 and the
STEPLIB=none variable looks to have been new in 2.2. Reducing the STEPLIB
and ISPLLIB solved things.

You need to turn on the option to capture inits/terms. Then the report
will have it.

Does someone have a program that can be shared - that will list all TSO sign-on
?
I know it is SMF 80 record. I can write a program but I don't want to re-invent
the wheel.
The program can be SAS, EARL, ASM etc
We are z/OS v2.2 and TSS v16. I looked at TSSUTIL but it only listed

Haven't looked, but you mention SAS. If you have SAS and don't have MXG, then
aside from being shortsighted, my comment won't help.
I would expect there is something in MXG that will get you close to your

Lionel,
STEPLIB=none has been around for a long time, and I see it documented, for
example, in the V1R13 z/OS UNIX Planning book.
Can you offer any more details as to where the performance is bad or how
you notice? I would assume that what you are describing is something
relative to the time
