There is a thread over on the DB2 newsgroup that got me curious as to
whether or not for a task like DB2 is there a way to isolate what a Temp DSN
belongs to?
So if I have a name like
IGD103I SMS ALLOCATED TO DDNAME
SYS07556
IGD104I
Is there a way to go to the website and download *all* available proceeding
handouts/presentations without selecting them one by one?
My boss went to Boston and said there is no longer a SHARE CD. When did that
stop (senior moment)?
Bob
I did not attend in Boston. However, the last one in San Fran did have DVDs
of the presentations. It did take many weeks before it showed up.

I do not recognize the R0268633.
That got my attention very fast and furious! :-)
Where do you see that messages? In DB2 subsystem STC, Batch job or TSO session?
Are these messages referring

And, IIRC, the dsname portion is equal to what is specified in the DSN
portion of DSN=DSN. Which, if not specified, is that Rnn thing
defaulted and maintained by allocation somewhere. I don't think that there
is any way, off hand, to look at the temp dsn and saying Oh, that is

Don,
Thanks. I had tried some many versions of temp dsn that link did not pop up
for me.

I wrote a bash script to do that for just the LVM sessions. It's not that hard
John McKown has made the crucial point. The skeleton for temporary
DSNs is such that it can be used perspicuously/informatively.
Equally, it can be used poorly/'uninformatively'.
Some subsystems may be expected to use it effectively, others not.

Hello list,
We are willing to migrate from ISFPARM to SAF for our SDSF security, the thing
that is preventing us is that there is no direct replacement for NOTIFY or
GROUP in the CMDAUTH and DSPAUTH parameters.
Any of you had a problem with this and could manage a workaround?
Regards,
Take a look at the IBM Debug Tool also if you have it. There is a chapter
that says how it can be used to determine compilers used to compile.
I'm replying as a fellow SPG and the opinion above is my own, not that of
IBM.
Thank You,

Is it possible to configure the NFS daemon so it uses SSL
credentials (~/.ssh/authorized_keys) rather than the
ever-so-funky mvslogin for:
o Classic data sets
o UNIX files (less important because we can serve from a UNIX
server any UNIX files we need to share).

There will be a CD from Boston. Might take a while, though - I got one from SFO
while I was in Boston!
