If I am remembering correctly, the 3290 handled it's sessions itself,
differently than using MLT for regular terminals. In the configuration, do
you assign LU's to each 3174 port? I think you need to assign extra LU's to
the port that the 3290 is plugged into.

year, where someone provided a nice Rexx exec that issued operator commands via
the SDSF Rexx API. The Rexx was called OPERCMDB and was executed via JCL. This

Alternatively, you can use System Automation's MRT to suppress it from HC
as well.
What you need in this case is REVISE statement. Something like:
UPON ( MSGID = 'IEF196I' )
REVISE('N' SYSLOG)

But the message(IEF196I) cann't be suppressed by the definition.
What else we need to do?

AFAIK, that profile
I actually did TNL's. They were such an improvement over ufiche and the
ammonia based printers. Back then we had a room full of the printers. When we
got our first AFP printers IBM had to put a special filter in to keep the
corona wire from frosting up.

SOMAXCONN sets the depth for IP socket connections queued.
I am not aware of any way to find out statistics on how many queued sockets
have existed during a certain timeperiod.
I believe 10 was the default value until z/OS 1.13. I believe the new default
in 2.2 is 1024.
