we originally "reconfigured" TLS to provide for encrypted data transfer for Db2
thru secured ports.
part of that work (I do not know why) was specifying a rule for HTTPS.
Now the only way we can download on this LPAR is when the HTTPS - TLS rule is
disabled.

Would the dataset be de-allocated at IPL so I might redefine my dataset?

Another stupid SMPe question.
Currently, we have one CSI with one target and one dlib. (I inherited this). I
want to setup at least another target and dlib zones for a "before" maintenance
level.
Might you ever consider creating a whole new csi for that or just as normal

I want to create another TARGET and DLIB zone for another level of maintenance.
I am currently, showing "newbie" offshore folks our SMPe environment.
Is there a way to "secure" the newly created TARGET and DLIB zones so they are

So I hope you all dont mind a general question...
We have the common struggle of dealing with non-mainframe developers accessing
z/OS (programs, jobs, DB2) and an attitude that we need to leave the mainframe.
In trying to leverage our z/OS environment, might ZOWE (and the required zOSMF)
both those options fail for me. The IPLINFO displays some info then fails at
"Call SPLIT_IPA_PAGE". The SHOWZOS is not found.

We used to do this with EMCSNAP.
But we have moved from EMC dasd to IBM.

we use BMC mainview / AMI OPS for Db2 and we have had an issue with threads
showing a status of "ACT in NETW".
In order to get more information, I understand there are status codes in IFCID
0148. How might I access IFCID 0148 records and reads those codes corresponding
to those threads?

We had AT-TLS modified to use a secured port for DB2 connection.
But now my SMPe receive via HTTPS is failing with the following:
