looks like there are 2 setting Lizette LXMAXSTC – limits the total number of concurrent external recalls (started tasks) LXMAXREC – limits the total number of recalls including those in the address space. I think he means FDRABR. It has been 30 years since I used FDRABR, but IIRC, the answer is YES. Ask him to execute from ISPF 6, exec 'his.fdr.clist.library(ABRALLOC)', select Option I, select Option 4, and do an AUDIT function.
