It saddens me to see LookAt go. I too use(d) it numerous times during the day.
Guess it is time to get used to the new thing :).

I've personally never used it.
I am wondering now. The people that mentioned they have a z9/z10.. Do you
privately own this one? (and keeping this in a home enviroment?)
I occasionally wonder around the internet looking for something similar, but
always end up with some z9's for sale on ebay for around $200K (!).

owever, data that does not need to meet any criteria in terms of
'response time' can easily be migrated to save DASD.
I was just wondering, are you using HSM ODM to migrate data?

AFAIK it is not possible under z/OS 2.2. I am not sure in 2.3. You can however
limit access users/groups to the plugin by using SAF. Specify no access to the
specific plugin option in the ZMFAPLA class.

Personally, I never used the add plugin workflows (or atleast not looked at it
in detail). We have a 'out-of-zosmf' checklist on how to setup z/OSMF
(plugins). We found that a little bit easier to follow with installing the
couple of dozen z/OSMF servers.

Hi Mark,
Usually, you should be able to get some information from the
/global/zosmf/data/logs directory.
Either the IZU0.log or the /data/logs/zosmfServer/logs/trace.log and or
messages.log should indicate RACF errors

Stuff I generally check are:
Are job submittions allowed for workstation ATOS? Are the parallel servers set
to anything other then "0" in the workstation definitions in the CP? Any JES2
exits active/inactive that would prevent job event handling?
