Hi,

I'm looking for the way to override the command_endpoint for a service template/set through director.

My setup is the following:

- one master, that is connecting to many agents. One of them is esxmon.domain.com - I also have several vsphereX.domain.com hosts. (Which do not have the icinga2 agent). - esxmon.domain.com is the only agent that can access vsphereX.domain.com:someport (for esx monitoring)
- master can ping vsphereX.domain.com
- vsphereX.domain.com host objects import their own custom host template (with icinga2 agent set to "no").

I can't find any way through icingaweb to override the endpoint.

According to https://linode.com/docs/uptime/monitoring/monitor-remote-hosts-with-icinga/ it should be possible throught the config files by using apply rules and adding a new custom variable.

Any ideas? Thanks,

Rudy
