Well anyhow pop3 should be banned for security reasons as most likely your
password goes in clear over the network. Use pop3s or imaps.
As for virus look for www.amavis.org and search for virus on
www.sourceforge.net
The other solution is to block attachments in e-mails, look for MIMEDefang
or
Work sessions tuesday go until 6pm.
