Service for the IETF website has been restored.
The cause of the outage was an update from the website software
vendor, Torchbox, which caused damage to both the file structure and
database content. Both had to be restored from backup to bring the
website back online. We do not have specific

We are aware that the IETF public-facing website is down.
As you know, the software for this site, "Wagtail", is provided by the
IETF's website vendor, "Torchbox." An update they provided this
morning has crashed the site, making it entirely unreachable. We have
reverted the files
