Siemens has supported our efforts to hold IETF 67 first in Europe and now
San Diego, where the IETF began 20 years ago.

AMS Announcement

The next IETF service to transition will be the Jabber services.
This transition will take place on Friday, 21 December 2007, at 9pm
Eastern (0200 UTC Saturday, 22 December 2007). At that time the DNS
entry for jabber.ietf.org will change from an NSS server to an AMS
server.

The Internet Society is soliciting nominations of qualified candidates for the
2012 Jonathan B. Postel Service Award by 31 May. This annual award is presented
to an individual or organization that has made outstanding contributions in
service to the data communications community. The award,
questions/inquiries must be submitted in writing
and must be received no later than midnight, June 18, 2012. Responses to
questions and inquiries shall be posted online at:
http://iaoc.ietf.org/rfpsrfis.html by June 22, 2012.
