[Ifeffit] Demeter Mac install on High Sierra

2018-02-04 Thread Alexandre Simionovici
Hi guyz,

Trying to install Demeter on a Mac thru the Macports command:
sudo port install xorg-server demeter
neither demeter nor xorg-server is known ! Macs nowadays have XQuartz
as X11 window manager so xorg is not needed but what about Zeus' wife ?

Has someone managed to install it on High Sierra or even Sierra ?

TIA,
Alex

OK, well that's good that it is now working!
For a hint to other people who might have similar problems, you're

C:\Users\sgshe\AppData\Roaming\demeter\stash, especially the

 b) Your project file looks like it is at
C:\Sheraz\Berkeley\UC Berkeley\Paul Alivisatos\Myounghwan Oh
CoMn Oct17 73\Fitting\Mn3O4.fpj
Could that path have non-ASCII characters in it?  I don't know
that this will cause a problem, but people have seen problems
with such
things in the past, and if you opened it once, it may be OK.
Still, it would be easy to move that to a simpler path (say,
C:\Users\sgshe\Mn3O4.fpj)
