[Ifeffit] How to use deconvolution function in larch using athena

2019-04-06 Thread wangshaof...@iae.ac.cn
Dear all,

I am trying to deconvolute some xafs data. Can anybody show me how to use larch
deconvolution function in demeter?

Thanks,

Subject: [Ifeffit] Can't open Athena project
I’m having trouble opening my Athena project in Artemis. This contains two
transmission spectra of zirconium phases. They plot just fine in Athena but
when I try to import them in Artemis it doesn’t recognise that there are any
files at all in the project (except that one of the two spectra does display in
the plot window). There’s just a blank space in the left hand pane where the
list of files usually appears.

I don’t have this problem with any of my fluorescence data from the same
experiment. And when I have an Athena project with a mix of fluo and
transmission spectra, only the former are listed in the import window.

I attach the project and the two files that went into it, in the hope that
someone can tell me what I (or the software) did wrong.

Regards,
Antony Burnham

[Ifeffit] 回复: Making N (coordination number) a variable.

i think you shoud first determine the accurate debyewaller factor the the cn number.发自我的华为手机 原始邮件 主题:Re: [Ifeffit] Making N (coordination number) a variable.发件人:Anatoly Frenkel 收件人:XAFS Analysis using Ifeffit 抄送:Make it 1 in the N window and make amp*N _expression_ in the S02 window instead. Then use N as a coordination number (fix or vary it).Anatoly

I do realize that N and ss are closely linked and do very similar things in the fit, but it seems i may need fractional (average) coordination number for one of the paths, and am fine fixing ss to see where N levels off. Thank you very much.Alex Solov
