But after this procedure, the Grub menu is missing(hidden) so no way
to boot in to windows.
to solve this problem, update grub while on the installed Ubuntu
$sudo update-grub2
it will lists all the menu items

I am a 5th semester B.tech From UCK.
In our college we are using Windows XP.

add "persist" to the file
