[ilugd] Reinstalling Ubuntu on dual booted machine

Hi I need to install ( upgrade) from Ubuntu 5.04 to 5.10 (Breezy) on a Thinkpad T 43 machine. Which is dual booted with Win XP. Do I proceed with a normal install or is there any precautions I should take, to ensure that WiN XP remains and I don't have to fiddle around with it. Thanks ram
