[ilugd]: user deletion and creation with the same name

Hi, Please let me know how I can recreate a user with the same name after deletion. Let me explain : I delete an already existing user by command : userdel username now when I try to create the user with the same name I get the error as "user already exists" please guide. regards, Malkiat
