Dear all,

it is quite encouraging to see the lively discussion on the issue. however, i
have certain problems and i would like to raise them taking the first mail as
the pointer and referring to other mails {more specifically point of views}
as and when necessary!

clarity is the ideal state of being which we all are striving for however a
reality check reveals that confusions lead to conversations and options and
alternatives and newer ways to do things. so while, i do believe that in a
broad framework concensus on basic ideas and principles for the group's
operation should be reached upon laying down stringent tenets for the
operation of the group will be quite limiting. And i personally do not think
that there are limits for anyone's participation within the group and if
there are then it is a problem which needs to be addressed.

every idea will have supporters and contenders and it is rather juvenile to
direct the support to the idea to the person who is voicing it. and if the
people who `decided' to keep quite did so on their own why blame others for
not giving them a chance? it would have been a different matter if the voices
were curbed and people not allowed to voice their opinion.

and being present at the scene myself and also involved in the discussion, i
can say with modest intelligence and understanding of the situation that the
discussion did not complete in a positive manner. if positive manner, which i
understand of it, is a consensus being reached. as far as i am concerned the
discussion was far from reaching to a concensus on even a single issue.

The need to take up the issue definetly seems like an urgent one. Although,
there are no restrictions or limitations to members in the group to go their
way and intiate newer groups it will be better for the group, for the ideals
and perpetuation and promotion of the movement if we all operate as cohesive
unit.

I am not in any capacity to offer any views and opinions or even ideas how
the differences be resolved, the only thing i can do is make a humble request
to all the group members to leave aside their personal prejudices, visit the
self reflective lane and evaluate how deeply they feel about the issue, whatt
hey are ready to contribute to the movement and how much everyone of us is
ready to compromise.

and let us not get wary of the confusions or conversations, they will only
bring forth further isuses and probably even solutions for those.

and please let us refrain from setting up deadlines to thrash out ideas for
that would mean a limitation to how far one can think. and that is limiting.

cheers
tripta
