Yes. you do. but only once. You use tcpdump to extract the encrypted password and put in the the config file. After that when you run linc, it would use the same password string. A problem which might occur is because the authinfo string used includes your instance of logging in. When you continue using the same authinfo string, you are basically telling the server that you are logging in at the same time everytime. I wonder how the server is handling it. ;) As an aside, using the script I had sent a while back, lets you use an exploit on the cyberoam network. Basically, because of a flaw in the implementation of the whole setup, it is possible for the client to take over ALL the bandwidth available to the cable ISP. But dont expect me to disclose the procedure in public! - Sandip > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Raju Mathur" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Monday, December 09, 2002 2:51 PM > Subject: [ilugd]: more 24online > > > > Managed to get a cable (ethernet) connection and using 24online. Don't need the Cyberroam client at all now. - Sandip -- -------------------------------------------------------- Sandip Bhattacharya sandipb <@> bigfoot.com http://www.sandipb.net GPG/PGP: 0x08EB637C -------------------------------------------------------- ================================================ To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe in subject header.
