Hi,
I'm running a email server, where users register through a coldfusion
program. The program adds their name to my access database where Imail gets
it's user list. I'm up to 2203 users. Now all the new users that register
get their names added to the database no problem, but when they go to
I'm sending an html message out to some people. I check the message in the
spool and everything is fine. As soon as I receive the same message.. one of
my tables has been cut out.
Any similar problems?
Solution?
THanks,
Julien
Came in to work this morning, and the spool contained over 50 000 files. Is
this normal, we decided to change them in another folder to see what
happened, and we got 2000 files in under 10 mins. Just wondering, are we
being bombed? Spammed? anything we can do? Maybe this is normal??
Please
lookin the the to see where they came from/goto

Hi,
Sure hope you can help me with this problem. I have noticed today that
somehow Imail got installed twice on the server. One on the C: drive and the
other on the D: drive. I need to upgrade my installation on the C: drive to
5.05 (I know it's a bit older, but that's what we use and need)

At a guess.. it might be worth backing up the accounts and removing all
previous installations from the server.
Then replace imail, add patch ..update accounts.

If anyone has French Templates available, let me know, It would save me
loads of work ;-). Just how much is possible to translate in the templates,
is it worth the bother?

Is it possible to use Cold Fusion with IMail? I mean configuring a server

it is. We use Cold Fusion to store the cookies for the user for
instance. That way the default value of the username/login name is based
upon their previous sucessfule login

Hi,
For some reason I can't remove a file once I add it to my attachments box.
Is this a bug, a setting that is not correctly set, or as MS would say... a
"feature"??
thanks in advance,

Hi,
When a user logs in online, is it possible to change the first page that
appears after the login has been accepted from Menu.html to the user's main
mailbox?

Yes it is Julien. Simply delete or rename welcome.txt to something else
and
it will skip over that page and bring the user right into his/her mailbox
summary page.

lways edit the menu.html to show only the
main mailbox instead of the summary. Many things you
can change, delete or add to this page.

If you have access to Cold Fusion and you know how to use it, it is simply
done by using an external database to manage users in IMail and then
programming a cold fusion application to automate the new user creation.
That is the only way I am aware of, but I'm sure there are other ways.
