Upon further investigation, the majority of the inbound emails are to
invalid addresses at our domain. We have a backup mail service and in
talking to them they say they are getting upwards of 66,000 emaills an
hour for our domain during the time our server is out of service.

lastlog.in file in the user's main mail folder. The registry value for web
login is seconds since 1/1/1970.

We are running Imail 8.22 Using MS SQL Database.
Lately - whenever we add a new domain to the server it takes a long time
before Imail will recognize the domain. Mail sent locally on the server
will be received by the user but email sent from remote servers will get
bounced with invalid user,
Sounds like a DNS TTL/Update issue to me. What are you turning the TTL down
to before you migrate the mail over? Or if it is a new domain, which
registrar are you using?
