Do you mean that you aren't getting the posts to this list (in which case
posting is a bit silly, as you won't see your post or responses), or that
you are unable to post (which is also a bit silly, since you wouldn't be
able to post)?
I'm assuming that the problem is that you can't receive, rather than post a
test message, you can start by checking your IMail SMTP log file to see if
the E-mails are being delivered to your server. If you don't know how to
do that -- well, instead of taking up time/space by posting a test message
that benefits nobody but you, you could ask how. :)
