My problem is simple: I want to deliver both 32- and 64-bit binary payload in my packages. In order for the system to run the correct binary, I use isaexec(3C). The problems start with the fact that I adhere strictly to the filesystem(5) manual page, respectively the System V filesystem

i upgraded my opensolaris from 2008.11 to 2009.06 today and i am really disappointed with boot process. It is painfully slow. On my 2GB ram system it takes about 2 minutes to boot. is there any way to increase the speed? Oh, by the way shutdown is extremely fast. :) -- This message posted

http://pkg.sunfreeware.com:9000/ appears to be working as far as I can see. Others have tried it today and it is working for them. I am happy to update the server to something newer if needed. Point me to the best things to install and I will do that. Steve Christensen sunfreeware.com

The depot is working fine for now, but is running depo bits from prior to the 2008.11 release. We are in the process of removing version 0 of search (it's being discussed on pkg-disc...@opensolaris.org right now). Once that removal is completed, users will no longer be able to search your
