I'm trying to run a vncserver inside of a zone and I'm getting the bug
described here.

Unfortunately, the solution isn't including /usr/X11/bin in the PATH. Is
there some other solution? Seems like it might be some sort of
Probably not. I'm running Chrome in VirtualBox. It's faster than FF
on OpenSolaris. Opera 10 runs on OpenSolaris too.

Not sure what the stats mean in reference to the original question.
The numbers for OpenSolaris would be even smaller.
Opera runs quite well on OpenSolaris. I too wish it had Flash.

I'm using OpenSolaris and VirtualBox. I'd like to be able to use the
control key but it doesn't seem to get captured properly. When I hit
Ctrl-n, for example, while in Firefox in a VirtualBox (seamless or
regular mode), I get N's in the address bar.

I can then use the right Ctrl-t (or any key), but still can't use the
left one. I shut down both VirtualBox and my VM and restarted just to
be sure that something wasn't cached on startup. I could probably
live with the right only ctrl for Firefox but Emacs will sure feel
quite a bit different.
I installed Wine on OpenSolaris (pkg install wine) and 1.01 installed.
Next I installed ie4linux
(http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/page/Installation) and got IE6
running. The problem is that wine is taking 40%+ of my CPU simply
running IE6.
Are there newer wine builds? Is there any

I guess that I would make the case that convention over configuration
really saves a lot of time. Providing both versions is fine. However, pick
a default.
When I use my Fedora 11 machine, I can take a lot of things for granted,
like software just compiles or I can get a package. If something
