Following my thrilling id of Lecesteria stipulata, last night, I found a pic of the berries on www. for it. Sadly I cannot add the link as it must be a private image. But I did notice that the berries in pic had a sort of coronet on the end. Just like the berries here! So I set to and did a bit more research. I now believe I have another Leycesteria.... Leycesteria gracilis. eflora mentions the lack of stipules. With berries that are red turning blue purple! Coincidentally the 2nd link has a botanical drawing... which shares the page with the Leycesteria stipulata. *http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2&taxon_id=200022273*<http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2&taxon_id=200022273> http://showyourplant.com/Leycesteria_gracilis/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/52033111@N08/5520551224/ *http://apps.kew.org/herbcat/getImage.do?imageBarcode=K000076887*<http://apps.kew.org/herbcat/getImage.do?imageBarcode=K000076887> So what is the verdict? Am I correct? Sheila =============================================== On Wednesday, July 25, 2012 8:48:03 AM UTC+1, JM Garg wrote:
