Dear Mr. R. Vijayasankar, The unripe fruit that is normally eaten is Solanum Torvum .I have never come across anyone eating the immature fruits of Solanum Viarum. The first is smaller and is green in colour about 12 mm in diameter, whereas the latter is around 30 mm in diameter is light green with white design all round. The leaves are very much similar.
