i am all for lumping in classification
but in this case i would go for splitting, and  create a new species, name
it away from t. divaricata
may be genetic studies will show enough differences to split it off from t.
divaricata

but i wont live to see it!!!

giving ideas to professors to direct some ms or phd candidates?
