Hi Shubhada, This is none else but the plant labelled by you. Mentioning the size of the leaves would have ruled out Holigarna. Forked nerves tally well with Dineshji's pics. The panicles in Holigarna are tomentose and petals are villous which is not seen in your picture. A close up of petals can also distinguish, Semecarpus has imbricate petals and Holigarna has valvate petals. May be yet another visit will settle this issue. This may be S. anacrdium var. cuneifolia (Roxb.) DC. which has cuneate leaves instead of rounded. It is unusual to find this plant at Ranibaug. Regards, Shrikant
