I tried with listed species in Flora of Peninsular India, with distribution in the area. But could not find any match. It comes somewhat close to *Sonerila grandiflora* <https://efloraofindia.com/species/m---z/m/melastomataceae/sonerila/sonerila-grandiflora>, but not convinced.
