My thoughts were also Zingiberaceae.
So, I searched long and hard on www, and the best I could find was
Hedychium gardnerianum.
My pics are fairly clear.

I suggested this on the other forum and others thought the leaves were
not right.
Which is what brought me here... for local knowledge and expertise.
