Yes this is a Abelmoschus moschatus , we  also having same plant in 
Kachchh-Gujarat (locally call WILD BHINDI), in wild condition.

“I think this plant is Abelmoschus moschatus Medik. , Malvenfam. 46. 1787 from 
the family Malvaceae. The leaves in these plants are dented along the margin 
and not palmately lobes like "Bhendi", this character can be seen from a single 
potion of a young leaf visible. Arati Ji kindly try to take the photo of the 
leaves , this helps a lot during identification.
