Seems to be correct observation. Likely to be *P. indicus.*
I am knowing *P. dalbergioides *- very common tall trees in the evergreen
forests of the Andamans and much valued for the reddish, light timber used
for preparing furniture.  Felling of the *Padauk *tree is now banned.
