[efloraofindia:316493] Re: Tree (Ficus sp) Id from _SM 601

2019-02-05 Thread Ushadi Micromini
i give up
there should be more pictures taken
in this day of digital photography
there is almost no cost
and its very quick to take the whole tree
its trunk or trunks
and aerial roots
fruits
and habitat pictures

esp since this is a person in a job that perhaps requires these pictures
and trees identified
may be his job depends on it???

i should be done coddling incomplete inept depictions
but i cant give up because i love trees

is accomplished everyday in this world.

there are at least 100 maples, takes a lifetime to be an expert

yet, give a botanist , any botanist correct data like at least one leaf in
complete profile,
and a good bark picture, a reasonable diagnosis could possibly be made

Thanks Aarti ji.
Frankly, I am not familiar with cactii.
Looking at your plants, they look different from mine. It could be because
of difference in vegetative phase - but I am totally naive about these.

I have never done this, but can try editing the pages by using python
script.

I can download the html and edit it through a script and give yout the html

 Dear Garg ji,
There are lot of websites which allow you to create QR code image if
you give the URL of the page for which you want to create one. However,
 you
probably would prefer an offline software which does the job. One example
 I
 could find, for Windows:

 https://www.tec-it.com/en/download/free-software/qrcode-studio/Download.aspx
Since I use Ubuntu, I use the native Ubuntu offline tool called
 *qrencode*.
For EFI, my preliminary search brought me to this:
  https://blog.qrstuff.com/2018/07/30/qr-codes-for-free-google-sites
I haven't explored it myself yet.
   Cheers!
   Tabish
