I think this plant is different from *Solanum violaeum Orteg.* in
many-flowered axillary cymes *vs* solitary or few flowers, also the fruits
are shining berries, smaller in size, without much enlarged, prickly calyx..
However, an authentic version of distinct features from regional floras is
awaited, Santhan Ji has assured to provide..
