Catalogue of Life <http://www.catalogueoflife.org/col/search/all/key/Chrysanthemum+morifolium+/fossil/0/match/1> only lists *Chrysanthemum morifolium* Ramat. I have observed in the past that some sites use × , while others do not use × for the same species i.e. some sites may be using Dendranthema × grandiflora (Ramat.) Kitam. while others may be using Dendranthema grandiflorum (Ramat.) Kitam. for the same species. But I do not know if it is correct or not. May I request others to through more light on this aspect.
