However, certainly in this section it is very important to have a picture of the inside of the spathe for the shape of the “naughty bits” in order to establish which species it can be. His first thought is Amophophallus longiconnectivus although he doesn’t rule out margaritifer or even bhandarensis (but that would be outside its supposed distribution range).
