I just call this musical notes since the buds look like a note on a Western

What I understood, was 2 types of thorns - crooked with broad base as well

*Meriandra benghalensis* is a synonym of *Salvia dianthera* (see here-
http://plantsoftheworldonline.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:456098-1)
but this plant is not Salvia in my opinion. Rather it should be in Ocimum
genus.
Please compare with available Ocimum species in eFI
Yes, I agree with Clerodendrum incisum. Such a pretty plant!
Please, checking the Catalogue of Life lists the name now as Rotheca
microphylla.

Thanks Saroj ji for the lead.
Looking up Salvia dianthera as well as Meriandra strobilifera on efi, in
the absence flowers, I am very confused.
Would like to wait for further feedback...
Thanks and regards

Re-opening this thread.
Was looking at Meriandra posts on efi as I had posted one today and found
that this old post of mine was wrongly labelled by me.
Based on leaf description on the O. basilicum, page in efi, I would like to

Would like to
