Rawat Ji,

Thank you for the helpful clue. I browsed the available Ranunculus pix on
the EFI site, and I can understand now that leaf shape/size and side view
is critical for identification. Will be more mindful of this in the future.
Attaching another photo from the same location in which the pedicel is
visible.
