Another new plant for me, not recorded for NW Himalaya. Certainly did not remind me of any known Himalayan species of Salvia!
Please note that *Salvia leucantha* is an alien species in this part of the world being a native of Mexico. Reported to be cultivated in India and the Himalaya. All over the world we have species which have escaped from cultivation and naturalised. 'Enumeration of the Flowering Plants of Nepal' give an altitudinal range of 1300-1700m.
