Usually, the cvs server is bounded to port 2401, you should
ask your proxy administrator to add cvs support.

is in those modules. I agree with Andre, this would be a good feature
to add to CVS. Except that the logistics of it are problematic.

Hello,
We are planning to use CVS in our company. Our network
structure is:
- 1 UNIX server.
- Windows 2000 clients.
- Mac OS clients.
- Linux clients.
I'm looking for the following docs :
- CVS installation notes (for clients and servers).
- CVS user manual.
- CVS administration
CVS Version: 1.10.7-7
Linux Version: Debian 2.2 r2
WinCVS Client v1.2
MacCVSClient v1.6
I now have keeping a checked out copy working, but I'm getting some errors
when committing using either WinCVS or MacCVSClient. Here is my Loginfo

This falls into the same category discussed in length (and heat)
lately: Should CVS care? Nope. Not a second. It's the admin's
job to plug the tools together which best fit a certain
environment.
Did you update all your sandboxes to reflect the new repository location?
There are two solutions:
1) Edit all the CVS/ directories in your workspace to properly
point at the new repository location.
2) Re checkout a new sandbox and work from there.

Don't use ``id'', use CVS's $USER internal variable:
